Post-Doctral
A post-doctoral position is available in the Department of Biochemistry Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in the laboratory of Dr. Engin Serpersu to study enzyme-antibiotic complexes of aminoglycoside antibiotics and the enzymes that modify these antibiotics by using spectroscopic techniques, isothermal titration calorimetry, NMR and other biophysical/biochemical approaches. The NSF-funded position is available immediately up to four years. Candidates are expected to have a strong biophysical/biochemical background with experience in spectroscopic techniques, particularly NMR.
