Course Policies

            1.  Attendance:  Even-though roll will not be taken on a regular basis, it will be checked periodically throughout the semester.  You may get “bonus” points for being in class.

If you have to leave class early, please be courteous enough to let me know ahead of time.  It would be best that you sit in the back so you don’t disturb the other students.

            2.  Study Habits:  I recommend reading the textbook and getting the outline off of the blackboard site or the web before coming to class.  I also recommend that you make note cards for the vocabulary terms.  If you have a problem, PLEASE don’t hesitate to contact me ASAP.  The sooner we work through your problems, the better off you’ll be.  Don’t wait until the end of the semester to tell me you don’t know how to study for Biology.
