General Description
"International Review of Cell & Molecular Biology"
(IRCMB)
presents comprehensive reviews and
current advances in cell and molecular biology, both plant and animal.
The IRCMB series has a world-wide readership, maintaining a high standard by
publishing invited articles on important and timely topics authored by prominent
cell and molecular biologists. According to recent citation statistics compiled
by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI), articles published in IRCMB have high
impact points and an average cited half-life of 9 years. IRCMB ranked high among publications in the "Cell Biology" section of their Journal Citation Reports. In the ISI survey, IRCMB ranked 22 out of 147 items in the "Cell
Biology" section of their Journal Citation Reports in terms of "non-self"
citations. The series (originally as International Review of Cytology) was founded by the late Professors G. H. Bourne and J. F. Danielli in 1952, and currently
8 - 10 hard-bound volumes are published each
year. Occasionally, thematic volumes covering one special topic each are also
published.
