Results
We pride ourselves with being able to get our client’s sequencing and fragment analysis results the next day. That is not a hard and fast rule, but a goal that we manage to work towards. Some fragment analysis people actually receive their data on the same day. It is possible to run three 96 well plates for fragment analysis in one 8 hour period, so don’t hesitate to bring more than one plate full.
We start all sequencing reactions at 11:00 am so if your samples are here and quantified by then, then chances are good that you will be receiving your sequencing data results files the next day before 11:00am. This is not a guarantee, but a goal we try to meet. Fragment analysis of 96 samples in 96 well plates can be run in less than 3 hours on the ABI 3100, so the same day results can be had. As many as 8 plates can be run in a 24 hour period. That equates to 3072 unknowns per 24 hour period. Many people multiplex, and have excellent results.
